Bayside City Council Artist-in-Residence Program
Bayside City Council is inviting visual artists, composers, multimedia artists and writers to submit an application to pursue their practice on the grounds of the historic Billilla Mansion in Brighton as part of its Artists-in-Residence program.
If successful, you will have the opportunity to work in a heritage precinct and be involved with the Bayside artistic community.
Resident artists are encouraged to plan and deliver community activities including artists’ talks, community workshops and master classes for local artists, as well as to participate in Bayside City Council activities such as the Bayside Literary and Performance Festival, gallery programs at the Bayside Arts and Cultural Centre, the Resonance Music Series, the Artrium Exhibition program and the Bayside Film Festival.
Four residencies are available and applications close on Tuesday 31 May, 2011.
For more information or to download an application form visit Bayside Artist-in-Residence, or contact Deanna Herbison by phone on 0417 327 899 or email dherbison@bayside.vic.gov.au.
