Improving Assessment Questions (multiple choice questions and essays)
The objective of the session is to provide practical advice on how to structure multiple choice, scenario, case study and essay questions that access ‘higher order’ levels of ability development such as analysis, synthesis and evaluation, rather than the ‘lower order’ levels of understanding content.
This also ties in with the workshop on Team Based Learning (TBL) as multiple choice questions feature prominently in this approach.
