My Tribe screening at Federation Square

Zombies, gamers, pillow-fighters, online daters, even clumsy people have their tribes...

Come and see them all, and more, on Friday 28th May at Melbourne's Federation Square, at 8pm, when a short and sweet package of some of the best of My Tribe will feature on the big screen. My Tribe is a national social/participatory media project initiated by the Media Program, in partnership with the ABC.

Title:

My Tribe screening

Date:

2010-05-28

Time:

20:00

Location:

Federation Square, Melbourne

Touching family stories, tales of community radio, car enthusiasts and rifle clubs, surreal machinima dreams, public transport nightmares and band-nights at the local pub... How do the blind experience the world? What is a Holga camera? What goes on at Melbourne's famous old Nicholas Building?

Short video, audio and photographic contributions have been collated and remixed especially for the screening.

Dress for the Melbourne weather and warm up with a celebratory drink afterwards in a nearby tribal haunt.
