The Counselling Service can support you if you are experiencing:
- depression
- distress
- agitation
- withdrawal
- anger
- confusion
- thoughts of harming yourself or others
- any other unusual symptoms.

- 24-hours on weekends and on public holidays.

- you are overseas

If you are overseas
The Department of Foreign Affairs provides emergency services for Australians who are overseas and these services include access to Lifeline telephone counselling options for those:
- negotiating a crisis overseas
- requiring counselling services while they are overseas.
IF you are on study related travel overseas (such as student exchange, internships, study tours, and similar approved mobility)
RMIT has direct membership with International SOS, a provider of 24 hour medical and security advice and assistance for medical, security or other emergencies, for all authorised RMIT business travelers, including students.
For emergency assistance travellers should simply call International SOS – 61 2 9372 2468 reverse charge, from anywhere in the world.
International SOS also has a comprehensive website that all RMIT travelers are urged to visit prior to departure, for security alerts, health and other information on intended destinations, as well as useful travel tips.
