Awarded FTI ( Fellow of Textile Institute, UK) in 2000 highest professional award recognised internationally
Awarded International Wool Secretariat Travelling Fellowship to present a paper at 7th IWTR conference, Tokyo Japan, 1985
Recipient of International Wool Secretariat, UK Ph D Fellowship in 1982,-1985 at University of Leeds, UK on a project entitled Dyeing of Wool with Phosphonated and Carboxylated reactive dyes.
Research
Dr Rajiv Padhye is chartered Textile Technologist and Fellow of the Textile Institute, UK. He holds TWO bachelor degrees and PhD from Leeds, UK
Over 25 years Rajiv is in Textile industry and has worked on a shop floor mainly in wet processing area as well as in research and academic field. His expertise is in the areas of Chemical Technology and Processing of Textiles, Dyeing and Finishing, Fibre Chemistry, Nanotechnology and Performance textiles. Rajiv has received various research grants since 2002 and was the chief investigator for Ballistic Armour project funded by Australian Wool Innovation which has been patented in 2008-09. Also has published his researches on widely differing topics in various journals.
