Student profile – Foong Hoh Yun

Networking is an interest and passion of mine. I was exposed to this area a lot during my undergraduate degree and during my professional career as a Systems Engineer.

I chose RMIT University as it had a good reputation and it offered a postgraduate program specialisation in Networking.

A highlight of my studies has been the group work. This has enabled me to work with individuals from various countries and backgrounds, teaching me a lot about teamwork and developing my leadership abilities.

I’ve also enjoyed working as a lab tutor and lab instructor, which has given me the chance to pass my knowledge to the undergraduate students.

Once I completed my studies, I hope to reach the level of project manager for a consulting or engineering firm, where I can apply the skills I have acquired throughout my career and studies at RMIT.
