Fine Art and Visual Art

The School of Art offers an array of educational pathways in traditional, technological and cutting-edge contemporary arts practice. It provides a rigorous, supportive and dynamic studio environment for both practice-based projects and conceptual and theoretical enquiry.

The programs are accessible and robust, with onshore and offshore opportunities and challenges for formative-level students and experts alike. Multidisciplinary study engages with the disciplines of painting, printmaking, gold and silversmithing, drawing, indigenous art, sculpture, ceramics, multimedia, photography, public art, art business and art history/theory. Being part of the RMIT School of Art is being part of a global outreach, granting graduates access to and understanding of the local and international arts industry.
