Seminar: The evolution and function of visual and non-visual pigments in early vertebrates

Professor Collin's (The University of Western Australia) presentation will explore the evolution and function of a diverse group of visual (opsin) pigments found in photoreceptors in the image- and non-imgage-forming tissues of early vertebrates (jawless, cartilaginous, bony and lobe-finned fishes).
