Corporations, People and the Planet conference postponed
This important discussion will now take place in July 2013.
The Corporations, People and the Planet Conference, that was due to happen in Melbourne later this month, has been postponed till July 2013. Sigourney Weaver has cancelled her appearance at this event citing filming commitments.
After consultation, the event’s organisers – The Thin Blue Line and RMIT’s Global Cities Research Institute – have decided that postponement is the best available course of action under the circumstances. The organisers are disappointed at this outcome and acknowledge the inconvenience caused to the supporters of this event.
We would like to assure all concerned that we are committed to staging this vitally important event in 2013. We would also like to thank the public for the overwhelming support they have shown for the event. All ticket purchases will be refunded.
